Cafe All-Rounder (Barista & Service) - The Wesley Hospital

About the Role:

As an all-rounder, you will be a vital part of our daily operations. You will be responsible for multiple tasks and expected to excel in both front-of-house service and behind the espresso machine.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Barista Duties: Preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages to a professional standard.

Customer Service: Greeting and serving customers with a friendly and empathetic attitude.

Cash Handling: Taking orders and processing payments accurately and efficiently.

Food & Beverage Service: Serving food items and ensuring the display is well-stocked and presented.

Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe, including the coffee bar and seating area.

What We're Looking For:

Proven barista skills are essential. We require someone who can confidently operate an espresso machine and produce consistent, quality coffee.

Prior experience as a cafe all-rounder or similar role.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

A positive, proactive, and reliable team player.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
