The Package: $35.74 - $39.49 gross per hour + 12% super (Evaluated as Grade 2 of the QPRC Salary System 2025) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

In this role you will:
Monitor and supervise patrons to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of aquatics and recreation facilities.
Deliver high-quality customer service, supporting front desk, food service, and general patron enquiries.
We are looking for someone who:
Possesses a Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check (if over 18).
Demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service.
Is reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Working with us: The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic recreation team that oversees the four pools in the local government area. They will have the unique opportunity of overseeing the impact of their work by providing their community with a safe and fun aquatic experience. They will also have access to numerous training opportunities as well as professional development opportunities.
