Ulti-Mech is a WA-owned mechanical and maintenance business with operations across Newman, Port Hedland, and surrounding regions. We support a wide range of industries by delivering quality mechanical, fabrication, and auto-glass solutions to both light and heavy vehicles.

We are currently seeking a qualified Glazier to join our team in Newman. This is a full-time, residential role ideally suited to someone already based in Newman or willing to relocate.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assess and diagnose vehicle glass issues, providing recommendations to customers

Carefully remove and replace windscreens and other automotive glass

Perform high-quality repairs to damaged windscreens and other glass

Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and safety requirements

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process

Maintain a clean and organised work area

Assist with the administration of jobs and inventory management as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical skill and customer focus. You will have:

Proven experience as an Automotive Glazier or Windscreen Fitter

Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive glass issues

A valid Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Certificate – Glazing (or recognised equivalent)

Minimum 2 years of relevant glazing and tinting experience

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current Australian driver’s licence

Ability to meet site-specific competency and induction requirements

Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

Residential in Newman or willing to relocate (preferred)
