About the Role

We are seeking applications for the casual role of QTIX Ticket Sales Officer. This is an exciting opportunity promoting and selling tickets for events sold through QPAC Ticketing and provide superior customer service to all QTIX patrons.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Provide the highest level of customer service to patrons by servicing all enquiries and sales for events sold through QTIX Ticketing over the phone and in person at QTIX counter locations.

Provide assistance to patrons experiencing difficulties conducting online transactions through the QTIX websites.

Resolve difficult customer situations in a calm and tactful manner.

Up-sell and cross-sell products to enhance the patron’s overall experience; contact patrons for follow-up, or in the event of performance changes.

Complete cash, credit card and EFTPOS transactions and reconcile receipts and ticket sales at the conclusion of each shift.

Assist with administrative processing and distribution of tickets.

Adhere to relevant QTIX guidelines and information, including following scripts during transactions.

Manage the ticket collection and sales for events in line with deadlines and performance start times.

Coordinate ticket sales and collections at off-site ticket locations.

Participate in other projects/initiatives as required

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

Demonstrated experience working in customer service / call centre, with experience in ticketing highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of customer service, including the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people in person and over the phone.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with sound computer and typing skills, and the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of QPAC’s ticketing system and online transaction processes.

Demonstrated strong administration skills, including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing information.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, including sharing and disseminating information as required.

Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make sound decisions, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain professionalism in demanding situations while working independently.
