About the Role:

As an Electrical Maintainer, you’ll work at Karara, where Bis operates a state-of-the-art Tailings Storage Facility. This includes a mobile, extendable conveyor system that optimizes costs and reduces environmental impact. You’ll join a dedicated team of around 40 professionals, working alongside leadership, operators, and tradespersons.

Your Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Electrical Lead, you’ll handle the electrical maintenance duties for the Tailings Stacking Facility, ensuring optimal performance while meeting safety, environmental, and financial targets. Your key tasks will include:

• Conducting scheduled electrical maintenance checks on all plant equipment, including safety devices.
• Planning and executing isolation procedures for plant shutdowns and maintenance.
• Managing the spares control system.
• Handling high-voltage isolations and responding to breakdowns.
• Performing regular workplace inspections, fault tests, and electrical status checks.
• Completing work order inspections, repairs, and maintaining accurate records.

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Current A Grade Electrical and WA High Voltage Electrical License.
• HV Isolators ticket.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Senior First Aid & CPR certification from St Johns Ambulance.
• EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights and White Card tickets.
• Experience in basic isolations procedures.
