We are seeking qualified and experienced Forklift Mechanics to join our team at the Toll Dampier Supply Base (Karratha, WA). In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a wide range of heavy-duty plant and equipment. From forklifts to reach stackers and Mafi trucks, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. This position is offering FIFO or residential options with those living in Karratha or Dampier encouraged to apply. What Does a Day as a Toll HD Mechanic Look Like?

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of Heavy Duty plant, machinery and equipment including but not limited to Forklifts, Reach Stackers, Telehandlers and Mafi Trucks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure prompt and effective resolutions
• Conduct routine inspections and follow maintenance schedules to uphold equipment reliability
• Collaborate with other maintenance and operational teams to ensure smooth workflows
• Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a secure working environment
• Ordering and replacing parts as needed
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Our Desired Key Skills and Experience:

• A relevant Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification i.e Mechanical - Light Vehicle - Mobile Plant - Mobile Equipment, Heavy Diesel
• Demonstrated experience working on a range of heavy duty mobile plant, machinery and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
• Current 'C' Class Australian Drivers Licence
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
