About the Role

JRM Resources is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Road Transport) to join our team in the local Peel region providing support to our sites across Waroona, Pinjarra and Boddington. In this full-time role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of trucks, trailers, and floats—keeping our transport operations running smoothly and safely. This is not a DIDO/FIFO role, applicants must live within travelling distance of the Stake Hill, Pinjarra, Waroona and Dwellingup areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, trailers, and floats

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and emission systems

Performing component changeouts and general mechanical repairs

Conducting preventative maintenance checks and services

Completing accurate service reports and maintenance records

Performing inspections and reporting on vehicle condition and repair scope

Attending roadside or mine site breakdowns

Working safely and adhering to all company and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

Cert III in Heavy Automotive (Road Transport) or equivalent qualification

Minimum 5+ years as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current HR driver’s licence (or higher)

Own tools

Willingness to work reasonable additional hours (including breakdowns outside normal hours)

Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
