We are looking for a Service Manager to join our Wangaratta team who thrives on leading teams and processes, driving service excellence, and delivering high-quality electrical service work across diverse sectors.

Job Summary:

As the Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of service electricians and support staff across a wide range of electrical service projects — including domestic settings, hospitals, aged care, education, retail, and government buildings. From installation to commissioning, safety compliance to customer service, this is a hands-on leadership role that keeps you connected to both the people and the technical delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate service delivery across a range of domestic and commercial projects

Manage and schedule service electricians and support staff to ensure timely, efficient job completion

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high quality service and repeat business

Oversee documentation, quoting, invoicing, and reporting to the Operations Manager, ensuring accuracy and transparency

Monitor follow-up services and job completions to maintain continuity and client satisfaction

Ensure WHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture across all worksites

Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and adopting new technologies

Support team development through performance reviews, training, and mentoring initiatives

Requirements:

Current Driver’s License and A-Grade Electrical License are essential

Experience in service management in the electrical industry is desirable

Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Proven technical knowledge in lighting, power, switchboards, and commissioning

Experience with data installation and vendor/contract management considered desirable

Computer proficiency (MS Office incl. Outlook, Excel, Project)

Excellent problem-solving, planning, and reporting skills

Strong safety mindset with knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance
