St Joseph’s OSHC in Bardon is looking for a dedicated and experienced educator to lead our team as Coordinator.

Located on the grounds of St Joseph’s Primary School, we offer before and after school care for up to 59 children in a dedicated, welcoming space. With access to the school playground and a focus on creative play, our service is a place where children love to learn, explore, and connect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
• Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
• Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
• Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
• Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
• Previous childcare service management experience.
• Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
