The Role

As a member of the Supplier Partnership & Performance Motor Team (SPPM), you will be accountable for the performance of the Motor Claims Supply Chain functions.

You will contribute to and champion innovation to drive improvement across all aspects of the Motor Related Supply Chain, delivering industry best practice outcomes across the key metrics of Cost, Quality and Timeliness.

This role is key to managing the risks associated with Hollard’s Motor Related Claims Supply Chain which will include compliance with the Code of Practice, Claims Handling as a Financial Service, relevant APRA (Australian Prudential Regulation Authority) Prudential Standards and ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) Requirements.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Contribute to the ongoing review of Motor Related Claims Supply Chain changes and emerging trends.

Support the SPPB team in Operational Supply Chain planning across the Motor Related Claims Supply Chain.

Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative Motor Related Claims cost-reduction strategies

Monitor Third Party Risk Management Framework across the Hollard Supply Chain.

Participate in the Periodic Review of Motor Related Supply Chain Risk controls to ensure effectiveness and update if required.

Develop collaborative relationships across the business to deliver improved outcomes for internal stakeholders, partners, and customers

About You

Extensive experience in General Insurance/short tail business preferably in a Procurement, Supply Chain or Claims management related role

Ability to solve complex problems with consideration to business impact

Excellent knowledge of internal products, competitor products and the current market.

Deep understanding and management of partner relationships

Strong influencing and leadership skills
