Who we are:

We are a medium sized wholesale and retail business based on the North side of Brisbane. Our warehouse/office (where you will be required to work from) is located in Brendale.

What we require:

We are looking to employ a Warehouse Assistant to join our Brisbane Warehouse team. The applicant is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective storage, handling, and distribution of products. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and organized work environment while meeting production and shipping deadlines.

Requirements:

Hours 8.00AM - 4.00PM (Monday to Friday)

Fixed 37.5 hrs per week.

Applicant MUST be able to meet these work times.

Must have own vehicle to get to and from warehouse in Brendale.

Double vaccinated + Booster

Responsibilities:

Organise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.

Assist food tech in preparing samples for R&D

Assist in cleaning of machinery each day.

Pack, wrap and dispatch pallets of packaged stock

Assist in general warehouse ‘housekeeping’

Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures.

Ensure accurate inventory and prevent stock shortages or surpluses.

Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, as well as provide accurate shipping documentation.

Implement quality control measures to ensure product integrity and compliance with standards.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Required Competencies:

Physical ability to walk, and to carry and lift stock

Ability to work in a team environment and work well with warehouse, sales and admin staff

Must be comfortable using a computer (MS Word, Excel)

Must be flexible. There is no job too big or too small for our staff members.

Must be able to accept and follow instruction from superiors

Must be able to lift 20kg bags

Good hygiene
