About us:
The Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) Nurse and Midwife Navigator service provides a centralised CQ-wide model of delivery, with Nurse Navigator positions operating from community care settings, based at Gladstone, Biloela (Banana), Emerald (Central Highlands) and Rockhampton (Capricorn Coast, Mount Morgan, Woorabinda).
About the role:
The Nurse Navigator employs advanced clinical and professional practice capabilities to deliver a positive consumer centred health experience across the lifespan for consumers with complex and chronic health conditions.
About you:
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- While not mandatory, a relevant post graduate qualification, or working towards would be well regarded.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
