Registered Nurse – Home Aged Care (Brisbane South - Gold Coast)

Role Overview:
In this community-based position, you will make a profound impact on the lives of elderly clients by supporting them within their own homes. Travel between client locations is required to provide exceptional care and ensure that their individual needs are met. As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Deliver both clinical and personal care, focusing on each client’s unique needs.
• Utilize your expert clinical judgment and compassion to develop tailored care plans.
• Assess and treat wounds, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Support clients with medical equipment, including catheters and continence aids.
• Provide valuable social and emotional support, ensuring holistic care and well-being.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience in Aged Care or Community Home Care is highly desirable.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID003/4) and CPR (HLTAID001) certifications, or the willingness to complete them within one month of starting.
• Proof of the right to work in Australia.
• A current driver’s license, access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance, and a willingness to travel between appointments (paid travel).
• A National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• A genuine passion for providing care to older Australians and helping them live independently at home.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations and Flu vaccine (or willingness to obtain).
