Byrne Trailers is a leading manufacturer of Heavy Vehicle Transport Equipment with its Head Office based in Wagga Wagga NSW and a division in Toowoomba QLD.

About the role:

Byrne Trailers is seeking an experienced Vehicle Body Builder to join our team in Wagga Wagga. This is a full time position where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of our high quality trailers.

What you'll be doing:

Welding and fabricating components for specialised Livestock and Bulk Cargo Transport Equipment

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Operating a variety of metalworking equipment, including MIG welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools

Preparing and finishing metal components to a high standard

Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for:

Extensive experience as a Vehicle Body Builder, ideally within the heavy vehicle industry

Strong understanding of welding techniques,

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Proficient in the use of metalworking equipment and tools

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
