Our services are proudly operated by Northern Rivers Children’s Services (NRCS), a community-based, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advocating for and supporting children through quality services.

About the Roles:

We have multiple opportunities available at both the Gingerbread House in Lismore and the Nimbin Early Learning Centre.

We are currently seeking qualified Early Childhood Educators with a Certificate III or Diploma to join our teams. These casual positions offer flexibility to support your work/life balance, with school hours negotiable for parents or those currently studying.

You will have ongoing support from an experienced management team including onsite Centre Director and NRCS support staff.

The successful applicants will require:

An ACECQA recognised qualification – minimum certificate III in Children’s Services

Up to date first aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificates

Have previous experience in a similar role working with similar age groups

A Working with Children Check

Child Protection Certificate

Two professional referees (industry specific).

Essential Qualities:

A warm, caring, and loving personality

Value partnering with families and have a passion for working with children aged 0-6 years

A passion for children, education, and development

Ability to work in a team environment and be a creative and cooperative team player

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Good knowledge of EYLF and NQS and a commitment to excellence in early childhood to provide high quality care and education.

Deliver quality education programs and daily routines that meet the needs and interests of each individual child.
