Are you a motivated Estimator/Project Manager with experience in the fencing industry? Our client is seeking a full-time, ongoing Estimator/Project Manager to join their team in Heidelberg West, Victoria. The role involves regular travel to job sites throughout Victoria, primarily in the metropolitan area, using a company vehicle.

The Package:

• Annual Salary:$115,000 - $125,000
• Superannuation
• Company Vehicle:$25,000 for a fully maintained BT-50 or similar, including a GPS and eTag.
• Smartphone
• Additional:Bonuses with on target earning of $200,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimating:Conduct site visits, liaise with clients to gather specifications, and accurately measure sites. Prepare detailed costings for all materials and contractors and create specification drawings. Provide detailed quotes on projects, including tenders.
• Project Management:Coordinate with customers on timing and logistics. Work with the factory and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate job completion. You will also be responsible for on-site problem-solving and liaising.
• Client Management:Identify and convert new prospects into customers while maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients.
• Sub-Contractor Management:Negotiate and liaise with various contractors, including installers, diggers, and service locators, and also source new ones.
• Documentation:Maintain a detailed calendar and complete records of quotes, purchase orders, and invoices. You will need to learn and use company systems such as Microsoft Office, simPRO, Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox, Xero, Miro, NearMap, and Employment Hero.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• A current Victorian Driver's license is required.
• Recent, relevant experience within the fencing industry is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• The role requires a high degree of attention to detail for preparing accurate measurements, quotes, and specification drawings.
• A working knowledge of Safe Work Method Statements and OH&S management is necessary.
