Crew Leader Position – Arbor Co

Arbor Co is a well-established service provider in the field of arboriculture, with a strong focus on urban tree care. We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Crew Leader who is passionate about arboriculture to become a valued member of our small dedicated and professional team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in the benefits of trees, the natural environment, and their positive impact on health and wellbeing. We are looking for a Crew Leader who demonstrates a positive, motivated, flexible, and can-do attitude, as well as an innovative mindset. The aptitude to lead and mentor a team of Arborists is essential.

Key Selection Criteria

· Certificate III or higher in Arboriculture.

· Advanced climbing and fine-pruning skills.

· Minimum of four years practical experience working on tree maintenance crews.

· Medium Rigid licence.

Essential Skills

· Well-developed tree identification and tree condition assessment skills.

· Effective communication, with the ability to lead and delegate.

· Comprehensive arboriculture industry knowledge.

· Fine pruning skills.

Candidate Requirements

· Demonstrated commitment to working safely and productively.

· Ability to apply and follow systems and procedures.

· Desire and ability to further professional development.

· Strong customer focus, resilience under pressure, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Self-motivation, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

· Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate visa).

Position Details

· Job Type: Full-time

· Remuneration: $85,000 – $95,000
