Our Company childcare offers an affordable and convenient solution for our hardworking team, ensuring their children are well cared for while they focus on their work.

Location: Berkeley Vale, Central coast, NSW

The Role: Our centre has a capacity for up to 20 children. While we continue to increase enrolments, we currently care for around 6 children daily, aged between 6 months and 4 years. This smaller group size allows our educators the time to meaningfully engage with children individually and in groups. We're a small, supportive team that values collaboration and suggestions to ensure the best quality of care. This position is permanent part-time, offering 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 6:30am and 5:00pm.

Job Description: As a Childcare educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for children in our company childcare facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of the children under your supervision. Your duties will include:

Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.

Implementing and conducting activities from the curriculum.

Responding promptly and appropriately to children's needs and behaviour.

Maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and cleaning up throughout the day.

Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's activities and well-being.

Caring for children aged 0-5 during the school term and children aged 5-12 during school holidays.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Certificate III Early Childhood Education & Care

First Aid

Working With Children Check

Preferred but not essential:

Diploma

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care
