Turnco Building and Maintenance are on the hunt for an A+ Carpenter to move into our team leader/supervisory role.

We’re one of Newcastle regions top maintenance carpentry companies and our business is booming. We’ve got so many projects on the go that we need another pair of hands! Both our builders and maintenance clients are flat tack! And we have big plans to make 2026 an incredible year.

Now, if you’re not looking right now yourself but you have a mate who is we offer a $500 referral fee when we hire the person you refer. The only condition is that they work with us for at least 3 months.

· Earn up to $41 per hour for the right candidate –we pay top rates

· No weekend work, except for the occasional Saturday during peak times but this is optional (and when we say occasional, we actually means a couple of times per year)

· You get a company vehicle (once passed the probation period)

· Early knock off Friday every week – Finish at 1:30pm.

Here’s what we need from you:

· Qualified carpenter with minimum 3 years’ post apprenticeship experience.

· Previous experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role (preferred but not essential for the right applicant).

· Full driver’s licence (Manual preferred).

· White Card + relevant tools.

· Be able to work unsupervised, run your own jobs and train apprentices.

· Honest and trustworthy.

· Experience with both residential construction and maintenance work would help.

· Make pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch.

· Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers.
