The Role

A State Government department is seeking a Project Officer (VPS4) to support their Community Outreach Program and related projects. You will provide project and contract management support, prepare reports and briefings, and engage with stakeholders to increase awareness and participation. This is a contract until the end of Jan 2026 with a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of community outreach initiatives and energy affordability projects.
• Monitor and report on program delivery against milestones and objectives.
• Provide project planning, contract management and administrative support.
• Draft correspondence, reports, presentations and status updates.

About You:

• Experience in project and contract management within government, community or program delivery.
• Strong analytical, writing and reporting skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of government processes desirable; relevant tertiary qualification highly regarded.
