The Opportunity

We are looking for local candidates to join our O&M team at Gunnedah Solar Farm as our Labourer. Play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our solar farm’s operations.

What we offer:

$65,000 - $70,000 base salary + super

Additional overtime and public holiday worked paid at award rates

Consistent roster available. Work our 4 days on 3 days off roster, 9.5 hour days (10 hours including unpaid lunch break)

Your responsibilities as a General Labourer will be:

Assisting carrying out maintenance checks on solar farm equipment

Maintaining upkeep of site and plant equipment

Providing general site duties to ensure smooth operations

Grounds maintenance of plant/vegetation on site (using large industrial zero turn mowers, whipper snippers etc.)

Mechanical technical skills are preferred

You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train

To be successful as our General Labourer, you will have:

Experience labouring in a similar field

Experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher

Forklift licence desirable

Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Bring a positive can-do attitude and sound communication skills You must have experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher

Valid Australian drivers license

Ability to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police Check
