Skilled Trade Assistant
Our client is a leading structural steel fabrication company specialising in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Quality, safety, and teamwork is central to what they do. We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Skilled Trades Assistant to join our clients' day shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating the overhead crane to move steel components around the workshop
• Assisting with general labouring duties (cutting, grinding, lifting, cleanup, etc.)
• Preparing and applying spray paint/coatings to steel structures and components
• Assisting with loading/unloading, masking, surface prep, and touch-up work
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Adhering to all workplace health & safety procedures and wearing required PPE

Key Requirements / Skills

• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane
• Experience in spray painting or industrial coating application
• Comfortable with general labouring tasks, heavy lifting, manual handling
• Valid driver’s licence
