Join Our Team as a Metalworker/Trades Assistant!

We’re looking for Metalworkers to join a leading manufacturer in the production of RF antennas, coaxial and custom cable assemblies, fibre optic cables, wiring harnesses, and medical wiring. This is a great opportunity to continue gaining skills and hands-on experience and work with a dynamic team and grow in a fast-paced environment!

About the Role: This hands-on role will see you performing a variety of tasks including drilling, cutting, mig welding, and fabricating metal products. There is an opportunity to learn laser welding as well. Prior mechanical experience is required. This is an amazing opportunity to expand your skills in a thriving industry.

Location: Bayswater North
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

What You’ll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll have a passion for hands-on work and a solid foundation in the following:

Practical experience with hand tools, power tools, and air tools

Comfortability with finishing tools

A background in manufacturing or fabrication

Experience with mechanical assembly and reading technical/mechanical drawings

A keen interest in picking up new skills and techniques

MIG welding skills are required
