About the role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Drafts Person to join our dynamic team at Shed Tek Pty Ltd in Pakenham, Victoria. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs to support the company's engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting engineering specifications and requirements to produce accurate technical drawings and designs

Utilising CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems

Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements

Maintaining and updating engineering documentation and drawings

Assisting with the implementation of design changes and revisions

Providing support to the wider engineering team as required

What we're looking for

Relevant qualification in engineering drafting or a related field

Minimum Certificate IV qualification in engineering drafting or related field

Experience using CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks

Strong technical drawing and design skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

A passion for engineering and a desire to contribute to the success of the company

Must have Australian work rights for this position
