The Opportunity:

• Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment.
• PW5 $74,742 - $80,407 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
• Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

The Security Services Department is dedicated to ensuring a secure environment for all students, staff, and visitors. Our mission is to promote safety through proactive monitoring, incident response, and emergency management.

As Senior Security Supervisor at our Moorabbin campus, you will provide on-site leadership to contracted security personnel while supporting the Security Manager. You will oversee day-to-day campus security operations, manage critical incidents, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

As a Senior Security Supervisor, you will:

• Oversee daily security operations, including patrols, access control, and system monitoring.
• Supervise and mentor security staff, ensuring compliance with performance standards.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, liaising with authorities and senior staff.
• Manage security systems, including CCTV, duress alarms, parking, and fire panels.
• Investigate incidents and prepare accurate reports to improve security protocols

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Certificate II in Security Operations, current Security Licence, and First Aid Certificate.
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising and motivating security teams.
• Strong crisis response and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• High attention to detail with sound administrative and investigative skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across diverse groups.
• WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
