Protech Darwin are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician with a strong construction mindset to join our team. This role involves working across modular building and industrial projects, with a focus on sub mains and infrastructure installations.

The mine site is based in the Tanami Desert, located 530 kms northwest of Alice Springs

Nature of this position includes exposure to the desert heat, rain, uneven ground conditions and an isolated environment.

2/2 Roster
12 hour days
Point Of Hire: Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical work on modular buildings and industrial sites
• Installation and maintenance of sub-mains and associated infrastructure
• Support communications cabling and systems (TSA licence required)
• Work with or alongside ENI techs where applicable
• Maintain high safety and quality standards on-site

Requirements:

• Trade qualified Electrician with construction site experience
• Strong preference for candidates with a construction attitude over maintenance-only backgrounds
• Valid TSA (Comms Cabling) Licence
• E&I tech experience is highly regarded
• Ability to interpret plans and work independently or as part of a team

Mandatory Criteria:

• Current Driver’s Licence
• Permanent Residency
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
