WASTE COLLECTION DRIVER

$37.95 per hour

Casual role, 3 - 5 days a week | Temp role util the end of the year. Potential to extend next year

South Windsor depot

In this role, you will:

Deliver kurbside waste collection services to domestic and commercial customers

Transport collected material for disposal to the Waste Management Facility, or other facilities as directed

Comply with requirements and conform with National Heavy Vehicle Laws

Ensure daily maintenance of the truck is carried out in a satisfactory manner

Maintain truck log book and any other record keeping reasonably required and relevant to the role

Report vehicle damage/defects via log book

Carry out "on road" repairs/maintenance to the truck as appropriate

You’ll need:

HR Licence

White Card

Current Police check

Truck driving experience

Previous experience in waste collection industry

Physically fit to carry out duties of position

Ability to work in a safe manner and to following WHS instructions

Ability to work flexible hours as necessary
