About the Opportunity:

A prominent regional QLD based firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services and Tax team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or nearing completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly within the primary production sector.

Preparations of IAS, BAS and FBT returns

Preparation of financial statement and tax returns & Div 7A, CGT and FBT Calculations

Guide clients in achieving their economic objectives

Advisory Services

Liaison with the ATO

Maintenance and preparation of clients financial records

Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.

CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.

Proven experience working with primary production clients.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
