Your next career opportunity
The Senior Lecturer will contribute to the Dilin Duwa centre's research and teaching program, leading high-quality and impactful research that informs policy and practice in the Indigenous business ecosystem. The role involves developing competitive research proposals, producing publications and reports, and building collaborations across disciplines, industry, government, and community. Alongside research leadership, the appointee will teach into postgraduate and non-award programs, supervise higher degree research students, and apply evidence-informed approaches to enhance learning and educational outcomes for First Nations students and participants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading research and scholarship by developing projects in Indigenous Business Leadership, publishing outputs, securing funding, and supervising postgraduate research.
- Designing and delivering education by creating and coordinating award and non-award programs, teaching postgraduate courses, and supporting student equity and wellbeing.
- Building partnerships and engagement by collaborating with community, government, industry, and academic partners, and disseminating research through publications and forums.
- Providing leadership and service by contributing to strategic planning, committee work, and maintaining professional expertise while promoting Dilin Duwa values.

You must also:
- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
- Hold a doctoral degree in Indigenous business, Indigenous leadership or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate a track record of high-quality research publications and scholarly output, with strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and maintaining accurate research records.
- Have designed and delivered university-level courses, including Indigenous Business and Leadership, supervising higher degree students, and have experience using Learning Management System platforms such as Canvas.
