About the opportunity:
Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital team as a Registered Nurse. Our core specialities include, orthopaedics, heart and lung surgery, head and neck surgery, neurosurgery, urology, vascular surgery, upper GI/hepatobiliary surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, colorectal surgery, gynaecology, neurology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, cancer services and mental health. Please note we are seeking a mix of permanent full-time staff, permanent part time and casual staff. Please state your preference.
Things that work for us
- Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
- Willingness to be able to work different shift patterns - days and nights
- Minimum 3 years' experience in acute care nursing
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills at all levels enabling you to achieve best practice
- You will understand the importance of providing quality care, and you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact
- If on a working holiday visa - that you have 6 months plus left
- ENT/Neuro/Cardio/Urology experience highly regarded
