As a People Projects Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact, people-focused projects aligned with the University’s People and Culture Plan. Your work will support a future ready workforce, promote positive change, and enhance organisation capability and culture. This is your chance to lead with purpose and contribute to strategic initiatives that matter, from policy and systems improvements to workplace engagement and compliance.
In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner with colleagues across People and Culture and the broader University, bringing innovation and empathy to every challenge. You’ll also contribute to shaping a culture where everyone feels they belong, where we are empowered to be bold in our ideas, and where we are supported to be more than we imagined.
You will make an impact by:
- Co-ordinating strategic HR projects that improve processes, systems and policy
- Delivering people initiatives that build capability and culture
- Supporting workforce planning, change initiatives and regulatory compliance
- Using people data to guide decision making and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborating across teams to codesign solutions that enable great work
What you will bring
You’re a strategic and people focused HR professional who brings both initiative and heart. You lead with curiosity, solve problems with purpose, and genuinely care about building a workplace where people thrive.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
- A degree in HR or related field, with ideally 4+ years of experience in an HR Advisory role
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects in fast paced environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience using HR data to inform strategy and measure impact
- Sound understanding of workplace legislation and change management principles

Your opportunity is:
- Full-time, fixed term (12 months)
- Located at Gold Coast, QLD 4225
- HEW Level 6. The base salary ranges from $95,961 - $105,250 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $123,142.
