Adelaide’s Finest Supermarkets is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead our Frewville bakery team. This is your chance to bring your baking expertise, leadership skills, and passion for fresh food to one of South Australia’s most awarded supermarkets.

About the Role

As Bakery Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Frewville bakery – from bread and pastry production to cake decorating and merchandising – while inspiring and developing a high-performing team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering outstanding quality, freshness, and customer service.

Assist leadership team to manage budgets, achieve targets and help the team reach their goals to maximise profitability and productivity.

Recruiting, training, and coaching staff to achieve their best.

Assist in planning production, recipes, ordering, and promotions.

Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

Driving innovation and continuous improvement across the department.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

A trade qualification in baking (or equivalent experience).

5 years hands-on baking experience in a high-volume environment.

Proven experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team.

A passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.

Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster.
