• Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm

The Role:

As a Yard Hand / Forklift Operator, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficient handling of steel products of varying sizes and shapes. You’ll be confident managing awkward or non-standard freight and experienced with long loads such as timber, pipes, or steel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move and manage heavy steel products
• Safely load and unload trucks
• Handle long or irregular freight with care and precision
• Maintain a tidy and organised yard
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Current forklift licence and proven experience
• Strong track record handling awkward or oversized loads
• Background in steel, timber, or pipe industries highly regarded
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

PPE Required:

• Long sleeve hi-vis shirt
• Long work pants
• Steel cap lace-up boots
