Assistant Talent Acquisition Officer - Talent Pool
Location - Parramatta
Employment type -Temporary roles up to 12 months
Salary - Clerk Grade 3/4: $84,659 - $92,701 + Superannuation
Your role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Talent Acquisition Officer to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team at DCJ. This role is ideal for someone with recruitment experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes and enhancing the candidate experience.
You will provide critical support across the recruitment lifecycle, working closely with Talent Acquisition Officers and the Team Leader to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
What you'll do
You will be responsible for coordinating pre-employment checks, including police checks, medical assessments, service checks, and reference verifications. This involves reviewing the outcomes of these checks and communicating professionally with candidates regarding the status of their applications.
You will also manage candidate enquiries and requests for additional information, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Maintaining up-to-date and compliant records and databases is a key part of the role, as is collaborating closely with team members to support the delivery of end-to-end recruitment processes.
What we're looking for
- Recruitment experience or exposure to HR processes, ideally within a high-volume or government environment.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative or support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
