Day-to-day responsibilities

Scheduling: Develop and manage care schedules that support healthy ageing by optimising staff availability and ensuring timely care for clients.

Rostering: Create efficient rosters that balance staff and client needs, ensuring every client gets the attention they deserve.

Problem-solving: Handle last-minute scheduling changes with ease and flexibility, embracing challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.

Collaboration: Work closely with Care Managers, Team Managers, and field staff to ensure seamless service, always keeping putting people first.

Customer service: Provide outstanding support to clients and staff, ensuring every interaction is positive and client-centred.

Compliance: Ensure all schedules comply with SCHADS Award and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of care.

Key skills and experience required

Experience: Experience in scheduling or rostering, ideally in community services or aged care.

Resilience and flexibility: Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, handling challenges with grace and efficiency.

Relationship builder: Strong communication skills that foster meaningful connections with clients and staff, ensuring every voice matters.

Team player: Able to collaborate effectively but also comfortable working independently when needed.

Problem-solver: Enjoys finding creative solutions to challenges, ensuring that things run smoothly for clients and staff alike.

Positive attitude: Brings enthusiasm and optimism to the role, with the ability to make a little magic in the lives of our clients.
