The Opportunity

Our client is an ASX-listed powerhouse, recognised for its employee-centric culture and supportive work environment. As the business continues to build on its success and diversify its portfolio, they are seeking a Receptionist/Office Administrator to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role is ideal for a motivated and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll provide seamless support to high-performing employees across the firm, while also working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day office operations.

The Responsibility

In this Reception/Office Coordinator position, your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and calls, providing a professional and welcoming reception.
  • Manage meeting rooms, catering, AV requirements, courier bookings, and mail distribution.
  • Oversee office supplies, equipment, and kitchen consumables, ensuring a well-organised workplace.
  • Coordinate with building management and vendors on facilities, security, maintenance, and contractor access.
  • Manage staff access passes, security systems, and compliance registers (first aid officers, fire wardens, etc.).
  • Support office events and initiatives, including staff celebrations and team activities.
  • Assist with business continuity planning, office compliance, and finance administration (expenses, reimbursements, reconciliations).
  • Handle other ad hoc administrative and facilities tasks as required.

The Expertise

The ideal candidate will be sophisticated, welcoming, and mature in their approach to work, with at least 2 years of office experience - across both reception and office administration. You will hold yourself to a very high standard across the board, be it customer service, communication, your attention to detail or professional presentation. You are reliable, resilient and a problem-solver at your core, but you also enjoy organisational and autonomous tasks too.
