About the Opportunity

We're offering a hands-on Auto Glazing Apprenticeship based at our Artarmon Service Centre. Open to applicants aged 17-45, this program provides the chance to "earn while you learn" while building a stable and rewarding trade career.

This is a 2-3 year apprenticeship where you'll train on the job with experienced technicians, receive support from in-house trainers, and graduate with a nationally recognised Certificate III in Automotive Glazing Technology. No TAFE attendance required - all learning is delivered in the workplace.

What You'll Do

Train to become a fully qualified Automotive Technician (Auto Glazier)

Work both in the Service Centre (approx. 52%) and on the road (approx. 48%)

Assist in:

Windscreen repair and replacement

Vehicle side and rear window replacement

ADAS calibration (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)

Fitting of auto accessories such as wiper blades and filters

Learn to use specialised tools and equipment

Deliver outstanding customer service as part of a supportive, collaborative team

What We're Looking For

A reliable and motivated individual with a positive attitude

Someone with mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability

Prior labouring or tool-handling experience (highly regarded)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Current driver's licence (P's or higher)

Physically capable of performing hands-on, repetitive work

Willing to work overtime and rostered Saturdays

Rosters & Hours

Work rosters are set monthly by the Service Centre Manager

Two roster options:

Monday-Friday (alternate Saturdays)

Tuesday-Saturday

Service Centre operating hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Flexibility to work overtime and some Saturdays is required

The Qualification

Certificate III in Automotive Glazing Technology

Duration: approx. 2-3 years, with fast-tracked progression possible based on competency

Pay progression based on skills and competency milestones - not just time served
