About the role
Exciting opportunity for skilled Roof Plumbers to join the reputable Carter Roofing & Slating Pty Ltd team in Wangara. This full-time role required specialist Metal/Tin Roofing & preferable cladding skills however not essential. We require you to be able to work un-supervised with good initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude. As an integral member of our growing team, you will be involved in a variety of projects across the Perth Metro area and surrounding regions.

You will be required to work in many different locations, occasionally work away from home in regional areas as well as in and around Perth on both commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate

You will need to have the following;

Construction Industry White Card

Working at Heights - R11OHS204A

Driver's License

2 x Working Referees within last 12 months

What you'll be doing

Install, maintain and repair all types of metal/tin roofing & cladding systems and all rain water goods

Troubleshoot and resolve roofing and plumbing issues

Collaborate with the wider construction team to deliver high-quality projects

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols

Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in plumbing or roofing, such as a Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent

Demonstrated experience in roof plumbing, including metal/tin roofing & cladding systems and all rain water goods

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Current driver's license

Own tools are essential

Reliable with good initiative, a can do attitude and open to learning new methods
