About the Role:
Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Educator, the Clinical Development Nurse is responsible for supporting the implementation and delivery of education within the ICU CCU, to deliver key outcomes in line with the ICU/CCU Annual Education Strategy, Monthly Plan and Inservice Calendar. They provide supervision, support, competency assessment, formal and informal education and training to all staff in the ICU/CCU to promote and maintain high quality, safe, patient care within the ICU/CCU.
The ICU CCU comprises a 10-bed medical/surgical ICU/HDU and a 6 bed non-interventional CCU providing care for approximately 1500 patients per year.
