$60phr / $120k p.a. + Overtime + Super

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading FMCG manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly regarded business that produces some of Australia's most well-known and trusted brands.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant and production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role involves a mix of preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and supporting continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging machinery
  
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on PLC-controlled systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley desirable)
  
• Work with VSDs, motors, HMIs, sensors, and automation systems
  
• Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications as required
  
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with Australian standards
  
• Support plant reliability projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  
• Complete maintenance documentation using the site's CMMS system
  

Skills & Experience

• Current NSW Electrical Licence (essential)
  
• Previous experience in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
  
• Strong PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  
• Good working knowledge of automation, drives, and control systems
  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  
• Strong safety focus with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Additional tickets (EWP, forklift, working at heights) highly regarded
