DIRECT CARE WORKERS – AGED & DISABILITY SECTORS

FULL TIME – LAUNCESTON/DEVONPORT/BURNIE - 38 hours per week

Hourly Rate range $35.00-$38.00 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging + Personal and Annual Leave

Direct Care Workers provide care and support to a variety of people in our community living in their own homes in a professional and respectful manner. You will assist in the effective and efficient delivery of personal care, domestic assistance and social support services enabling people who are, aged, live with a disability, or their carers to remain as independently as possible.

When you are not supporting clients, you will be based in one of our offices in Burnie, Devonport or Launceston engaged in administrative duties.

To be considered for this position you will need to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Assessment, Psychometric assessment, and possess the following compliance requirements:

Minimum qualification of a Certificate III Individual Support - Aged Care or Disability

A Tasmanian Drivers’ Licence.

Current Tasmanian WWVP card with NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.

Satisfactory National Police Check.

Evidence of the working rights in Australia (for visa holder applicants only).

Competent in using electronic devices such as a tablet.

Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
