Position overview
The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Engineer to manage and optimise our enterprise storage, backup, and archiving infrastructure.
You will be a key member of the Service & Infrastructure Management / Platform Services section within the Data and Digital Group, providing technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of enterprise platforms.
This role requires deep expertise in storage technologies, backup and recovery platforms, and archive solutions. You will ensure the resilience, performance, and scalability of Bureau systems that underpin critical operations.
Occasional work in controlled Data Centre environments may be required. This may include limited heavy lifting of equipment in line with WH&S policies.
