Position Overview: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Hewitt Consulting Engineers, you'll play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, collaborating closely with our Director, and leading projects. This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 5 or more years of experience, seeking to expand and thrive within the profession, and looking for a supportive environment that fosters growth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Leading and assisting junior staff

Managing client relations and overseeing projects

Designing mechanical HVAC systems

Applying codes and standards effectively

Conducting heat load calculations, equipment selections, and scheduling

Performing site inspections and surveys

Writing comprehensive specifications

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Possesses 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry, ready to advance to the next level

Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Ideally proficient in tools such as BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and/or REVIT (not mandatory)

Displays a proactive and positive attitude

Enjoys collaborating within a friendly, hardworking team environment

Exhibits a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills

Excels in time management

Is an Australian citizen or permanent resident
