We are currently looking for a Hardware Technician to join our growing iPlay team in Casuarina. This hands-on role is key to keeping our venues running smoothly. You will use your technical skills to support and maintain our systems, repair hardware, and provide essential IT support across our venue operations.

About the Role:
Your role will be a Game Technician, at our Casuarina venue to repair and maintain arcade machines. You’ll work closely with the Regional Manager or Venue Managers when support is needed.
We’re looking for someone who is dedicated, a quick learner, and focused on keeping machine downtime to an absolute minimum.
Hours:
Standard 40 hours per week, with occasional extra hours if required. We don’t expect you to exceed 45 hours per week.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Ensuring the software and hardware program or machine on a daily basis
Responds to any queries regarding the software and hardware problem and determine any requirements to provide the solutions
Ensuring the sufficient usage of any equipment
Assist with anything that is relevant to computer systems such as installing, testing, repairing, configuring and another required task
Strong experience in an Electronic, Auto or audio-visual technician role, or in an electrical/electronic/technical field.
Repairing white goods or computer hardware or experience repairing audio-visual equipment or associated technologies.
Ability to review equipment, identify errors and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Able to proactively carry out preventative maintenance
Ability to work unsupervised
Great communication and problem-solving skills
Flexible availability for various shifts including weekends, Public and school holidays
A current drivers’ license is a must
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years’ experience as a hardware technician or in a similar role
Relevant Diploma or equivalent qualification
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
Enthusiastic, positive attitude and able to achieve set targets
National Police Check completed within the last 30 days
