JK are teaming up with a rapidly growing client - who are renowned for their productive, safety-focused culture - to find multiple Mechanical & Auto-Electrical Trade Assistants for long-term positions starting ASAP!

Please note: these roles are rostered as full-time hours from 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday with an earlier finish of 3:00pm on Friday.

The Role

This role will see you responsible for the build, assembly and fit-out of heavy transport vehicles. Depending on this role, this will either be focused on refrigeration, lighting & electrical, or physical componentry.

Working within a team of skilled and experienced professionals, it’s important that you can work both independently, as well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Confident use of hand and power tools
• A mechanical mindset, with ability to try your hand at a range of tasks onsite
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred, not required)
• Ability to read and interpret plans and designs (beneficial)
• Prior experience working with heavy vehicles
• A commitment to your own and others' safety
