Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an APS6 Senior Procurement and Grants Officer. This position is located in multiple offices across Adelaide, Albury, Canberra, Goondiwindi, Griffith, Mildura & Murray Bridge for an initial 12 month contract.

About the Position
The APS6 Senior Procurement and Grants Officer plays a key role in delivering strategic and operational support for procurement, grants, and contract management activities. Working within a centralised Procurement and Contracts Unit, the officer will provide expert advice, manage grant and procurement processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and value for money outcomes.

Duties

• Provide expert procurement advice
• Manage end-to-end grant processes
• Ensure policy and process compliance
• Lead small project initiatives
• Maintain stakeholder relationships

Requirements/Skills

• Commonwealth procurement experience
• Strong grants process knowledge
• Contract management understanding
• Relevant qualifications or experience
• Knowledge of AusTender & panels
