Happy Tots on Waterloo at Cleveland, is a unique Long Day Care and OSHC service providing education and care to children from birth to 12 years.

The Role:

We are currently looking for a hard working Cleaners to join our amazing teams at Cleveland on a Permanent Part Time basis. Further opportunities could be available to the right candidate to extend your skillset by transitioning or combining roles as an Early Childhood Educator role for those interested and willing to study.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning of offices, staff room and classrooms, foyer, pathways, bathroom for staff and children, lunch rooms, verandahs and other areas if needed.

Cleaning and maintaining the ongoing laundry functions

Restocking cleaning and washing consumables throughout the service

Deep cleaning as required

Maintaining stock levels of cleaning consumables

About You:

Commercial cleaning experience preferred

A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) or willing to obtain

Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment

Excellent verbal communication skills

Friendly disposition with a can do attitude

Strong understanding of the importance of family communications

Respect and support colleagues by developing positive and ethical channels of communication that are based on principles of mutual respect, equity and fairness
