About the Role

Reporting to the Community Manager and / or Care Manager, our cleaners provide quality cleaning services which contribute to a safe, clean environment for residents and employees. This is a vital role within the Seasons Living Sinnamon Park community to ensure excellent presentation standards and the health and happiness of our residents.

Core Responsibilities

Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules and duties lists.

Mopping and vacuuming floors, damp dusting, waste management, restocking of supplies and assisting with laundry practices as required.

Safe storage and use of cleaning agents, ensuring correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities for each task.

Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and risk of contamination is minimised under the infection control program.

Contribute to a safe environment when undertaking duties ensuring equipment is not obscuring exits and passageways.

Ensure all common community areas (e.g. reception, dining room, hallways etc) are kept neat, tidy and clean at all times.

Top Skills

Demonstrated high quality previous cleaning experience.

Understanding of cross contamination risks and importance of hygiene when cleaning for people with low immunity conditions.

Good working knowledge of WHS requirements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated understanding of the requirements of Material Safety Data Sheets.

Interest in ongoing personal and professional development.

Flexibility with hours when workload demands.

Requirements

Due to the 24/7 nature of the business, it is reasonable to expect that Seasons employees may be requested to work on a public holiday. Where an employee has been allocated a public holiday to work, this is a request, not a requirement.

Experience in an operational cleaning role.

Unrestricted Australian working rights.

Current national criminal check.
