Continuing, full-time position available

The Advancement, Data & Analytics Lead is responsible for providing data analysis and insights to assist drive University growth through evidence-based decision-making.

They are the interface between the central Planning and Analytics branch and the Division of External Engagement which includes functions such as advancement, global engagement, marketing, media and corporate relations and student recruitment.

Under broad direction and working with a degree of autonomy, the successful candidate will manage a small team providing advice and support to the Division of External Engagement and the wider University regarding performance measurement, data analysis and insight generation.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively fulfil with the associated behaviour expectations.
  • High level knowledge and experience in data and reporting systems, including analysis and visualisation tools such as PowerBI.
  • Proven experience understanding complex business processes / requirements and able to turn data into actionable insight to improve decision-making.
  • Experience in effectively leading, managing and developing a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer support and the ability to work with and understand a broad range of data users.
