Steel Loader / Overhead Crane Operator - Wollongong

Our client, Australia's leading manufacturer and distributor of reinforcing steel products, is seeking a Steel Loader / Overhead Crane Operator to join their busy team in Wollongong. This is a casual, ongoing dayshift role.

Shift & Pay:
🕖 Dayshift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
💲 $36.34 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely loading and unloading reinforcing and structural steel onto trucks using an overhead/gantry crane
• Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment
• Following all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Working closely with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in steel loading or operating an overhead/gantry crane (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work 5 days per week
• Full Australian work rights with no restrictions
